Packed football stadium beneath the Nairobi skyline, with a gold tournament trophy and emblems in Tanzanian, Kenyan and Ugandan national colours

AFCON Pamoja 2027 | 19 June to 17 July

The first whistle is in 2027. The fight for attention has already started.

AFCON Pamoja will bring Africa's biggest football tournament to Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Millions of people will search, watch, travel, spend and talk.

Your customer will be among them.

The question is simple. When they look, will they find you?

Countdown to kick-off

The timer is counting down for everyone.
The advantage belongs to the brands using that time well.

This is bigger than football

A continent will arrive with questions, plans and money to spend.

CAF confirms AFCON Pamoja 2027 will run from 19 June to 17 July 2027.

For the first time, three countries will jointly host the tournament. Kenya. Tanzania. Uganda. One region. One enormous wave of attention.

CAF expects more than 1.5 million fans across the three host countries.

They will need somewhere to stay. A way to pay. Data to stay connected. Transport they can trust. Food worth talking about. Answers before they land.

Your business does not need to be printed on a football shirt to benefit. It needs to be useful when the fan starts looking.

The stadium will be full. So will the internet.

Posting “Karibu Kenya” on match day is not a strategy.

By kick-off, every brand will discover football. The noise will be spectacular. If your plan starts when the tournament starts, you will be buying attention at its most crowded moment.

That is not an awareness problem. That is a system problem.

Decisions in motion

You do not need everyone watching AFCON. You need the right people choosing you.

The fan looking for a hotel near the action.
The traveller comparing payment options.
The company planning a client event.
The distributor preparing for higher demand.
The sponsor trying to prove the campaign worked.

Your job is to appear at the right moment, earn trust quickly and make the next step obvious. That is how attention becomes revenue.

Hospitality and tourism

Banking, fintech and payments

Turn convenience, foreign exchange and merchant access into reasons to choose you.

Telcos and technology

Help fans stay connected, stream matches and navigate the city.

Retail, FMCG and entertainment

Build an offer people can understand in seconds.

B2B and corporate brands

Create conversations beyond the final whistle.

Be there when they ask

The search starts long before the journey.

“Where should I stay in Nairobi during AFCON?”
“Which SIM card works best in Kenya?”
“Where can our company host clients for the match?”
“Which payment option should I use?”

Our search and AI discoverability system makes your business useful before it becomes an advertisement. Audience Intelligence finds the questions shaping the decision. Our conversion system gives that attention somewhere useful to go.

Quick reality check

Could your current website handle the opportunity?

Can a visitor understand your AFCON offer in five seconds?

Can an international customer contact you without making a local call?

Can someone complete the next step from a phone?

Can you trace a booking back to the campaign that produced it?

If the answer is no, more traffic will not solve the problem. It will expose it.

Why now

Search authority cannot be microwaved on match day.

The final list of stadiums is still subject to official confirmation. That uncertainty is not a reason to wait. It is a reason to build the parts that will matter in every scenario.

The Kenya 2027 hub shows how AFCON and the General Election create two major attention moments weeks apart. Our AFCON analysis explains why brands that prepare early have more room to move.
